Study Options –
1. A Theme Study of Genesis
We'll continue exploring the book of Genesis, as we seek to experience the narrative through the eyes of the culture in which it was written. In the process we will be discovering aspects of God's character and themes that will help us to understand the full arc of his plans and purposes in the Scriptures.
Leaders: Kim Ohls and Claudia Forrester
2. A Book Study on Galatians - FREE FOR ALL by Phillip Jensen and Kell Richards; Mathias Media
Paul had preached the gospel in Galatia (Turkey) and founded churches there. In his letter to the Galatians Paul sorts out just what is a true Christian. His message is about freedom- freedom from rules and regulations, freedom from sin, and freedom from our past. This Bible study looks at the freedom that is in the gospel of Jesus and at the things which threaten to drag us back into slavery.
Leaders: Ann Austin & Sue Burch
3. A discussion on The Expectations Gap by Steve Cuss
Christians experience significant gaps between what we believe about God and what we encounter from God. Our goal in reading and discussing this book together will be to engage God at a deeper level as we take time to notice recurring predictable patterns that keep us stuck and learn tangible tools to help us relax into God's presence.
Leader: Stacey Dombrowski
4. Multigenerational Connection Group
We will read the book of John together (in 13 weeks!) leaving time each meeting to share our burdens and pray for one another. This is a no-homework small group.
Leaders: Laura Hamm & Victoria Eades
